Merck Electronic Chemicals Signed Agreement with Moses Lake Industries, USA
Merck Electronic Chemicals Holding GmbH, which was recently established as an independent wholly owned subsidiary of Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany, is one of the leading global suppliers of ultra-pure electronic chemicals and Total Chemical Management Service to the semiconductor and flat-panel display industries. It achieved worldwide sales of EUR 192 million in 2002.
MLI is the world's leading producer of ultra pure Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide (TMAH) and TMAH-based photolithographic developers. MLI is also the world's leading producer of ultra-pure electrolytes and precision reagents for sub-micron plating applications. MLI also produces Tamapure Reagents, which are used in ICP-MS applications. Moses Lake Industries is wholly owned by TAMA Chemicals of Japan.
Merck Electronic Chemicals Holding GmbH will concentrate its marketing efforts for the Moses Lake products in the European market while Moses Lake Industries will sell Merck Electronic Chemicals goods in North America.
