Elliott Group Opens Service Shop in Tianjin, China

29-Apr-2015 - China

Elliott Group announced that it will open a new, 5,780-square-meter turbomachinery service center on May 7, 2015, in the Technological and Economic Development Area (TEDA) of the Binhai New District, Tianjin, China. The new facility in Tianjin will repair and maintain rotating equipment for customers in the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, refining, and coal industries. The facility's location in TEDA and proximity to the Port of Tianjin Xingang simplifies the movement of equipment and components.

The Tianjin service center is fully equipped and staffed to repair all components of centrifugal and axial compressors, steam turbines, and hot gas expanders,  including diaphragms, rotors, impellers, blades, bearings, and casings. The service center utilizes advanced welding technologies including TIG, Micro-TIG, and submerged arc welding, nondestructive testing, dynamic balancing, specialty machining, and custom parts manufacturing. The facility includes a 200-square-meter dedicated rotor storage area.

The Tianjin service center is the newest addition to Elliott Group's Global Service network. Elliott Group operates 18 service centers in China, Taiwan, Japan, Europe, the Middle East, and North and South America, supported by parts depots in Japan, the UK, and the US.  Elliott field service crews operate everywhere in the world, supported by regional engineering offices in Singapore, Switzerland, and the US, and by Elliott Group's major manufacturing facilities in Japan and the US.
