BÜCHI Labortechnik AG is one of the leading manufacturers for sample preparation, particle formation, wet chemistry and analytical instrumentation for R&D and Quality Control (QC).

NIR-Online GmbH’s core competence is the development of online NIR and vision system solutions for process optimization in a wide range of industrial applications.

BUCHI’s CEO Thomas Liner comments “The combination of both companies is a perfect strategic fit for both partners. For BUCHI this acquisition is an important milestone in expanding our portfolio of technologies from the laboratory into the process environment."

Liner further says "We have been compelled by this opportunity since our customers are increasingly seeking solutions which allow them to acquire analytical data continuously and in real time in order to optimize their product quality and overall manufacturing efficiency."

The BUCHI CEO also pointed out that adding the NIR-Online technology to the product portfolio enables BUCHI to offer comprehensive solutions to customers along their entire value chain.
