SMC to Increase Sodium Cyanide Prices
Special Materials Company announced that effective June 1st, 2013 it will increase the price of its sodium cyanide grades to all its customers by $0.10/LB ($0.22/KG). The increase is necessary due to current market conditions driven by the continued high prices of gold.
According to SMC officials, “We continue to work very hard to offer our customers products at affordable prices and will always continue to investigate strategies to minimize price increases.”
