hte nominated for the German Industry's Innovation Award 2012/2013
"The nomination is an endorsement of the innovative work performed by our team with our customers and partners over the past 13 years," explains Dr. Wolfram Stichert, board member and co-founder of hte AG. "We see this as an incentive to further develop our technology platform."
hte's innovation enables catalysts and chemical processes to be investigated in a high-throughput procedure and allows more effective catalysts to be identified ten to 100 times faster than with current standard procedures. As accelerators of chemical reactions, catalysts help save energy, allow more valuable products to be derived from fossil raw materials and make new energy sources such as hydrogen or fuels from wood waste more competitive. In this way, the company, a member of the BASF Group, supports the search for solutions to global challenges such as environmental and climate protection, energy efficiency and mobility.
The most important scientific, technical, entrepreneurial and intellectual innovations are distinguished under the patronage of Dr. Philipp Rösler, German Federal Minister for Economics and Technology, and Prof. Dr. Annette Schavan, German Federal Minister of Education and Research. The prize will be awarded by the F.A.Z. Institut and Wirtschaftsclub Rhein-Main e.V. among other partners in the categories "Start-up companies", "Medium-sized companies", "Innovative personnel concepts" and "Large companies" within the scope of a gala event held on March 9, 2013.
