BASF increases prices for Neopentylglycol and Trimethylolpropane in Europe
BASF is increasing the prices of the polyalcohols neopentylglycol (NPG) and trimethylolpropane (TMP), with immediate effect or as existing contracts permit by 150 €/mt in Europe.
Polyalcohols are widely used in solvent free coatings and for the production of polyurethanes, alkyd resins, unsaturated polyester resins and synthetic lubricants.
