BASF increases prices for glues and impregnating resins in Europe
Effective September 1, 2012, BASF is increasing prices for its Kaurit® und Kauramin® brands in Europe by 10 EUR / mt on top of fluctuations in raw material prices as of the month of September.
The price increase is necessary due to higher energy, personnel and maintenance costs.
Kaurit® and Kauramin® glues as well as UV-impregnating resins are condensation products of urea and formaldehyde. Kauramin® additionally contains melamine.
