Süd-Chemie: Squeeze-out cash compensation determined

The majority shareholder of Süd-Chemie AG, Clariant AG Muttenz/Switzerland, informed
the Süd-Chemie Managing Board that it will provide cash compensation for the transfer of the shares of the Süd-Chemie minority shareholders to Clariant AG, the majority shareholder, in the amount of EUR 125.26 per Süd-Chemie share in accordance with the squeeze-out procedure (German Companies Act (AktG) under Secs. 327a et sqq.).

A resolution regarding the squeeze-out is set to be adopted in an extraordinary general meeting of Süd-Chemie AG planned for 22 November 2011.
