New system modules for epTIPS from Eppendorf
07.08.2002 - The new refill system for epTIPS is the result of consistent continued development of the proven Eppendorf Eurosystem. It consists of an autoclavable working box, the epTIPS Box and practical refill trays, the epTIPS Reloads.
The system enables contamination-free handling of the refill trays: plastic lids protect the trays from direct contact during transfer to the working box. The sturdy box provides the trays with a steady base, which is ideal for working with multi-channel pipettes.
The Reloads can be autoclaved in their packaging, meaning that the user is not limited by the number of available work boxes. The proven color-coding of the trays allows simple indentification of the tips and the simultaneous assignment to the matching eppendorf pipette.
Environmental concerns are also addressed by the greatly reduced waste volume in comparison to disposable boxes. Additionally, all components are naturally 100% recyclable.
Reloads are available in two purity levels: "Eppendorf Quality" and "PCR clean". PCR clean means free of human DNA, DNase, RNase und PCR inhibitors, thus allowing worry-free work in the molecular biology lab.
