Azelis announces the acquisition of YDS in Benelux
Azelis announced the acquisition of YDS chemicals, a Belgian based distributor of speciality ingredients.
YDS Chemicals specialises in the distribution of personal and home care ingredients, pharmaceutical excipients, speciality food and performance chemicals in the Benelux market. The YDS entrepreneurial business, founded by Yves De Somere in 1992, offers a large variety of specialty products such as adjuvants for crop protection, surfactants, oleo-chemicals, textile auxiliaries and food ingredients.
With this regional acquisition, Azelis continues to reinforce its activities in Benelux within the Personal Care, Chemical Industries and Food & Health business lines.
