Merck KGaA: Kley Elected Vice President of the German Chemical Industry Association

Merck KGaA announced the Chairman of the Executive Board, Dr. Karl-Ludwig Kley, has been elected Vice President of the German Chemical Industry Association (Verband der Chemischen Industrie e.V. - VCI) by the association’s member assembly, which met in Dresden, Germany. Kley has been a member of the Presidential Council since September 2007. He assumed the role of treasurer of the association in September 2008 and will continue to serve in this capacity as Vice President of the VCI.
