Celanese Announces Price Increases
Celanese Corporation will increase prices for the following products in the amounts detailed below effective October 1, 2010, or as contracts allow.
Acetic Acid: 0.02 USD/LB (USA, Canada and Mexico); 50 USD/MT (Central and South America); 50 USD/MT (Central and South America); 30 USD/MT (Asia)
Acetic Anhydride: 0.04 USD/LB (USA, Canada and Mexico); 90 USD/MT (Central and South America); 30 USD/MT (Central and South America); 40 USD/MT (Asia)
Vinyl Acetate Monomer: 0.02 USD/LB (USA, Canada and Mexico); 50 USD/MT (Central and South America); 30 USD/MT (Central and South America); 50 USD/MT (Asia)
Ethyl Acetate: 0.05 USD/LB (USA, Canada and Mexico); 100 USD/MT (Central and South America); 30 USD/MT (Central and South America); 30 USD/MT (Asia)
Butyl Acetate: 30 USD/MT (Central and South America); 30 USD/MT (Asia)
MIBC: 0.02 USD/LB (USA, Canada and Mexico)
Paraformaldehyde: 0.02 USD/LB (USA, Canada and Mexico); 40 USD/MT (Central and South America); 50 USD/MT (Central and South America)
