Change on BASF’s Supervisory Board
Stephen K. Green (61), member of the Supervisory Board of BASF SE, has been appointed to become the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for Trade and Investment effective early in 2011. He will therefore resign from BASF’s Supervisory Board in December 2010. His successor will be named at a later date.
Dr. h.c. Eggert Voscherau, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Jürgen Hambrecht, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF said, “Stephen Green’s long-term thinking and broad international experience has lent valuable insight to our board. We thank him for his contribution and strategic advice. We wish him all the best in his new position.”
Green is currently Group Chairman of HSBC Holdings plc and has been a member of BASF’s Supervisory Board since April 2009.
