SpecialChem Adds DuPont Packaging and Industrial Polymers To Its On-Line Polymer Expertise Platform

PARIS, July 9, 2002- SpecialChem, the on-line expert on polymer additives, announced today that DuPont Packaging and Industrial polymers (P&IP) has joined its unique online technical expertise platform. This is a continuation of a service, which has been found to be an excellent means of better serving customers in the plastics industry. DuPont P&IP is known worldwide for its development, production, and marketing of functional polymers for packaging, adhesives, building, and construction.

DuPont P&IP joins just three months after DuPont's Titanium Technologies (formerly White Pigment & Mineral Products business), the world's largest producer of titanium dioxide, became a successful on-line collaborator with SpecialChem.

The rapidly widening collaboration between SpecialChem and DuPont is exciting, according to SpecialChem CEO and co-founder Bernard Hasson.
