Bodo Möller Chemie expands its presence on the Asian market
Adhesive expert opens new locations in Thailand and Vietnam for automotive, battery, electrical and aerospace users
After China and India, Bodo Möller Chemie is now moving into South-East Asia, expanding sales of its products and services through new branches in Thailand and Vietnam. Users in the automotive, battery, electrical and aerospace industries thus now receive products such as adhesives, sealants, and potting and encapsulation resins by renowned manufacturers such as DuPont, Huntsman, Henkel, medmix, and Pactan. They also benefit from an extensive technical service provided by the branches in Bangkok und Hanoi City.
With two new branches recently set up in Thailand and Vietnam, Bodo Möller Chemie now also offers users in South-East Asia its comprehensive range of adhesive and sealant systems, potting technologies, and thermal management materials (for power electronics and battery systems). Users can also take advantage of technical consultations and application engineering services, which include adhesive tests in the company’s own laboratories. Among other sectors, the new branches focus on automotive construction, electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, battery technology, electronics manufacture and the aerospace industry. “The new sales offices in Bangkok and Hanoi City consolidate our presence on the Asian market. This has enabled us to meet the increased demand for our products and services. A technical service, maintenance applications and consultancy for production and development processes all form part our core expertise as a solutions provider,” states Bernhard Vreden, Managing Director at Bodo Möller Chemie Thailand. “Electric transport and renewable energies are changing the industrial landscape in Thailand and Vietnam. We are actively shaping innovations with pioneering product solutions and our adhesive processing know-how,” adds Lionel Breuilly, President of Bodo Möller Chemie APAC. “Close collaboration with long-standing, successful partners such as DuPont, Henkel, Huntsman, medmix and Pactan is essential in South-East Asia.”
All-inclusive service based on decades of expertise
The new branches now also give users the option of accessing services provided by the Adhesive Competence Center in Shanghai. This is where engineers and chemists transform the chemical data of adhesives and sealants into mechanical and electromagnetic data for the clients’ design engineers. “The expansion into Thailand and Vietnam is a decisive strategic step in expanding our geographical footprint. We offer our clients worldwide an exceptional, all-inclusive portfolio and decades of expertise.
