Christ acquires manufacturer of loading and monitoring systems
Motus Engineering GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturer of loading and unloading systems, will belong to Martin Christ Gefriertrocknungsanlagen GmbH effective January 1, 2023. Strategic cooperation between the two companies has been in place for several years and will be further intensified by the takeover.
Motus is headquartered in Marburg, around 250 kilometers southwest of Osterode.

Motus is headquartered in Marburg, around 250 kilometers southwest of Osterode. The Marburg location will be retained and will continue operating as an expertise center for loading and unloading solutions as part of the Christ family-owned group of companies.
Innovation strength and know-how significantly expanded
With over 20 years of experience, Motus can draw on a broad range of expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology and food production. Along with know-how and innovation strength, the acquisition will significantly expand human resources.
The two companies aim to collaborate on the implementation of customer projects and innovative solutions for loading and unloading pilot freeze dryers. This enables the development of tailored end-to-end solutions, including planning, mechanical design, production, assembly and commissioning on site.
