Daniel Oryan joins management at EDL

Daniel Oryan was officially appointed to the management team of the Leipzig-based company on August 15th. As from November, he will take over the duties of Wolfgang Kursch, who will take on special tasks as managing director until his retirement at the end of February 2023. With this rejuvenation process in the top management, EDL will continue the future-oriented development of the last few years.
After studying process engineering, Daniel Oryan began his professional career at Uhde in Dortmund. He then worked in various specialist and managerial positions for Sabic and Shell in the Rhineland refineries.
Most recently, he was Technical Manager at H&R for the Salzbergen refinery site.
