Agilent Technologies announces real-time monitoring of fuel cell processes
The accelerated pace of fuel cell development - spurred by the potential for reduced emissions, greater efficiency and less reliance on fossil fuels - places new demand for fast chemical measurement diagnostic and monitoring tools. This system has a two-stage gas interface that connects easily to all fuel cell processes for detailed qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis. Operators can monitor and capture rapid transients that other monitoring equipment might miss. Customized control charting and data logging software offer continuous process analysis. The analyzer provides good linearity for hydrogen and other fuel cell gases over a wide concentration range. Impurities such as hydrogen sulfide and other organo sulfur compounds can be monitored at the parts-per-billion level.
