The chemical distributor OQEMA is growing in Southern Europe

The Milanese chemical distributor EVS (Elettrochimica Valle Staffora S.p.a.) joined the Mönchengladbach-based OQEMA Group in April. The business lines of EVS cover the full organic and inorganic product ranges and in terms of specialities, EVS is a perfect complement to the OQEMA portfolio in the following business lines: industrial, food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, water treatment, and rubber and resins. Its annual turnover is currently almost 60 million Euros.

With an area of approximately 50,000 square metres and a directly adjacent reserve plot with an area of 50,000 square metres, the storage area enjoys excellent transport connections in Rivanazzano Terme (PV) between Milan and Genoa. The company also has its own representative office in Milan.

Now in its second generation, EVS is a traditional, family-run company that has been run for 50 years by Olindo Deserti. The company has outstanding relationships with its suppliers and customers, its work with all of its trading partners is close, trusting and distinguished by its high degree of continuity, and it employs around 50 committed, highly motivated members of staff.
