Dow Corning Names Global Solutions & Alliances Manager for Solar Business
Dow Corning has named Wilfried Brachschoss as Global solutions & Alliances Manager for its Solar Business Unit, which provides silicon-based solutions throughout the entire photovoltaic value chain. Brachschoss will be based at Dow Corning facilities in Wiesbaden, Germany, where he will build and manage global partnerships to help deliver the full value of Dow Corning’s Solar Solutions. Specifically, he will work with equipment suppliers to provide global cost-effective dispensing solutions for Dow Corning’s Si-based materials.
Brachschoss joins Dow Corning with more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development leadership. Most recently, he was the leader of the EMEA sales and marketing team at Conexant, a semiconductor manufacturer in Newport Beach, Calif. He has also held several management roles at Infineon, Qimonda and Siemens Semiconductor.
Mr. Brachschoss has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Munich University in Germany.
