BASF increases prices for certain polyalcohols
BASF is increasing the prices of its polyalcohols neopentylglycol (NPG), trimethylolpropane (TMP), hydroxypivalic acid neopentylglycol ester (HPN) and 1,6-hexanediol (HDO) with immediate effect or as existing contracts permit. The price adjustment accounts for inadequate margins.
Neopentylglycol (NPG): + 300 €/t (Europe, Africa, Middle East); + 250 USD/t (Asia); + 0.10 USD/lb (The Americas)
Trimethylolpropane (TMP): + 300 €/t (Europe, Africa, Middle East); + 0.10 USD/lb (The Americas)
Hydroxypivalic acid neopentylglycol ester (HPN): + 300 €/t (Europe, Africa, Middle East); + 150 USD/t (Asia); + 0.10 USD/lb (The Americas)
1,6-Hexanediol (HDO): + 145 €/t (Europe, Africa, Middle East); + 150 USD/t (Asia); + 0.10 USD/lb (The Americas)
