Celanese Announces Emulsions Price Increases in North America
Celanese Corporation announced that it will increase the price of all emulsions in North America effective Feb. 1, 2010, or as contracts allow.
Pure acrylic emulsions will increase by $0.05 per wet lb., and vinyl-based emulsions (including PVAc homopolymers, vinyl acrylic and vinyl acetate ethylene) will increase by $0.03 per wet lb. This increase affects emulsions sold into all application areas: adhesives, building products, paints and coatings, nonwovens, textiles, paper coatings, and glass fiber.
