Krahn Chemie expands its market presence in Poland

28-Sep-2009 - Poland

The foundation of its own subsidiary in Poland is another milestone in the growth strategy of chemicals distributor Krahn Chemie GmbH. The company founded Krahn Chemie Polska Sp. z o.o., based in Poznan, on July 27, 2009. The background behind this decision is the extensive market knowledge and substantial business, which Krahn has been successfully broadening and expanding in Poland for more than 10 years. Before now, the local structures of sister company Albis Plastic were used.

At the same time, Krahn is strengthening its local team with additional salespersons, thereby expanding its customer proximity and market penetration. The main focus in Poland is on supplying the paint and coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives and sealants, and plastic and rubber processing market segments.

"We have succeeded in filling the individual sales positions in Poland with experts who have longstanding professional experience," says Dr. Jörg Schottek, Managing Director of Krahn Chemie GmbH, "This reflects our alignment with the Hamburg parent company."
