Ciba Specialty Chemicals launches new high performance inverse emulsion flocculants as part of the Ciba® Zetag® 8000 series
The inverse emulsions fulfill the growing demands of environmental protection and modern high tech dewatering systems. They support process optimization and cost reduction and – last, but not least – preserve of our environment.
The new emulsions:
Ciba® ZETAG® 8816 Ciba® ZETAG® 8818 Ciba® ZETAG® 8846 FS Ciba® ZETAG® 8848 FS
show high performance, with benefits including:
- increased efficiency over existing products showing a reduction of product dosage up to 20%
- higher cake dry solids resulting in reduced costs both in dewatering process and sludge disposal
- improved clarity of filtrates/centrates
- high product stability at ambient and low temperatures, reduced oil content, no propensity to build up foam
- high process stability with maximum sludge throughput results in a more efficient use of machine capacity
