Dow Adhesives and Functional Polymers Announces Price Increases in North America

07-Sep-2009 - USA

Dow adhesives and Functional polymers will implement a price increase for all acrylic and acrylic-based products sold to the pressure sensitive, construction, textile-nonwoven, and graphic arts markets. The increase of $0.09 per lb. will take effect immediately or as contracts allow. The increase will affect all acrylic and styrene-acrylic emulsions, vinyl-acetate based emulsions, and solution polymers.

In making the announcement, Patrice Barthelmes, Business Group Vice President of Adhesives and Functional Polymers, cited the continuing escalation in raw material costs as necessitating the increases.
