Oxea Announces Price Increases and 100 Percent Sales Control

Oxea will increase prices on the following products effective September 1, 2009, or as contracts allow. This increase is in addition to any previously announced mid quarter price increase.

Due to shortages of propylene, large and sudden cost increases, improved demand and tight alcohol supply, effective immediately, Oxea has implemented 100 percent sales control on the products, as listed below.

n Propyl Acetate: EUR/mt 30 (Europe); USD/mt 100 (Asia, Africa, Middle East)

n Propanol: EUR/mt 40 (Europe); USD/mt 100 (Asia, Africa, Middle East)

Di Octyl Phthalate: EUR/mt 50(Europe)

2 Ethyl Hexanol: EUR/mt 80 (Europe); USD/mt 115 (Asia, Africa, Middle East)
