Foster Wheeler USA Wins Chemicals Contract in North America

Foster Wheeler AG announced that its subsidiary Foster Wheeler USA Corporation, part of its Global Engineering and Construction Group, has been awarded a detailed design contract by a confidential client for a chemicals project in the United States.
The total installed cost for the project is estimated at $100 million. Foster Wheeler’s contract value, which was not disclosed, was included in the company’s second-quarter 2009 results.
“The chemicals business in the United States is an important area of opportunity for us. This award demonstrates our Houston office’s continuing success in diversifying our client base and business offering,” said W. Troy Roder, president and chief executive officer of Foster Wheeler USA Corporation.
