High-Precision Plastic Consumables
Treff is a leading Swiss manufacturer of high-precision injection-moulded plastic components and assemblies with in-house mould production facilities. The name “Treff” is now synonymous around the world with the production and distribution of the highest quality laboratory disposable products. Manufacture is carried out by entirely automated processes and the company is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
As an OEM-partner we develop and manufacture customised plastic consumables for many leading diagnostic equipment manufacturers. Our class 10.000 (GMP/FDA) and class 100.000 cleanroom production facilities allow us to meet the tightest specifications for critical disposable products for diagnostic and PCR applications.
Under the brand name of TreffLab, we manufacture universal precision tips which fit most brands of popular pipettes and are equal to researcher’s most exacting demands. Microtubes with varying cap-fitting styles such as “EasiFit” and “ClickFit” and thin-walled PCR-Tubes, Strips and Plates are available RNase- and DNase-free. Deep Well Plates in PS and PP are designed for use with automatic sample handling instruments and are available sterile or non-sterile.
In addition to laboratory disposable products Treff develops and manufactures injection-moulded components and assemblies for housings of laboratory and medical instruments, diagnostic equipment and electronic measuring instruments.
In close co-operation with our customers we utilise our advanced CAD 3D Pro/ENGINEER System to design and develop plastic parts. Our in-house mould production facility utilises the most modern equipment, including electro-discharge machines.
With over 60 computer-controlled moulding machines with clamping pressures of up to 3500 kN, we are extremely capable of producing injection-moulded components of weights from 0.2 to 1,200g in virtually all thermoplastic polymers. Product printing is done by pad, hot stamp or silk screen – whichever is most appropriate to the product and its purpose.
