Trondjhemite

Trondjhemite is a leucocratic igneous rock consisting of quartz, oligoclase, and biotite. Trondjhemite is a medium- to coarse-grained rock.

The term trondjhemite is used for a tonalite in which the dark colored minerals constitute less than 10% of the rock. In general, the more silica-rich rocks are lighter in color due to the abundance of the lighter-colored minerals quartz, K-feldspar, and plagioclase feldspar.
