StromeyeriteStromeyerite is a mineral, a sulphide of copper and silver. It is one of series of copper-silver sulphide minerals with varying proportions of the two metals. Additional recommended knowledgeBlue grey or dark blue, it was discovered in 1832 and it is named after the German chemist, Friedrich Stromeyer who performed the first analysis of the mineral.
