Roger J. Willams (biochemist)
Roger John Williams (August 14, 1893 - February 20, 1988) was a biochemist and author of many books and articles. He was a professor at the University of Texas at Austin, and was the first to isolate pantothenic acid. He and his colleagues in Austin also were among the first to isolate several other vitamins. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1919. He was a member of the National Academy of Sciences. Publications
