Rodent cocktail

Rodent cocktail is an anesthetic mixture that is often used for rodents in research. The injectable, yellowish liquid is a mixture of Ketamine, Xylazine, and Acepromazine. This mixture is often preferred by researchers because of its low mortality in rodents, its relatively quick recovery time, and low cost. A variant that does not include the Acepromazine is also sometimes used.
