Mendozite



Mendozite is a sulfate mineral, one of the alum series with formula: NaAl(SO4)2·11H2O.

It was discovered in Mendoza Province, Argentina in 1868, it occurs in evaporites and is unlikely to be found anywhere except in extremely dry conditions.
