Helically Symmetric Experiment



The Helically Symmetric eXperiment (HSX) is a modular coil stellarator operating at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. HSX possesses a magnetic field magnitude that is helically symmetric. HSX is the world's first and only operating quasi-symmetric stellarator.
