The European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (usually abbreviated as Eur. J. Med. Chem.), is a peer-reviewed scientific journal for Medicinal Chemistry. In 1965, it started under the title:

During 1974 to 1981 it was still subtitled as Chimica Therapeutica, and from 1982 to 1986 the subtitle was Chimie Therapeutique, indicating its french origin. European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry is published by Elsevier's Bureaeu in Paris, France. The editors are O. Lafont, S. Guccione and A. Monge-Vega. Back volumes up to Volume 22 (1987) can be accessed online by the journal's homepage at ScienceDirect. European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry should not be confounded with Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, published by the American Chemical Society. The impact factor for European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry in 2006 was 2.187. [1] References
