Estropipate (Ogen®, Ortho-Est®) is a form of estrogen.

Uses

Estropipate is used to:

  1. Alleviate symptoms of menopause as hormone replacement therapy
  2. Treat some types of infertility
  3. Treat some conditions leading to underdevelopment of female sexual characteristics
  4. Treat vaginal atrophy
  5. Treat some types of breast cancer (particularly in men and postmenopausal women)
  6. Treat prostate cancer
  7. Prevent osteoporosis
