Elmer's Products, Inc.Elmer's Products inc. is the manufacturer of Elmer's Glue-All and other crafts and home repair products, including Krazy Glue, Ross Glue, ProBond adhesives, and X-Acto craft knives. It has its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Additional recommended knowledgeElmer's Glue-All was first marketed in 1947 by Borden, Inc.'s chemical division under the name "Cascorez Glue". The head engineer of this project was Edward H. Robbins. Shortly after, the brand was renamed after Elmer the Bull, husband of Borden's advertising mascot Elsie the Cow. Elmer's image continues to be featured in the company logo. The company was acquired in 2003 by Berwind Corporation, a privately held investment firm. Elmer's Glue-AllElmer's Glue-All is a polyvinyl acetate-based glue. When added to borax it produces a viscoelastic liquid. It is a myth that Elmer's white glue contains milk protein or any other animal protein. The product is derived solely from petrochemical feedstock.[1]
