Eamonn HealyDr. Eamonn F. Healy is a professor of chemistry at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. He was born in New Castle West, Ireland on September 25th, 1958. He received a doctorate in chemistry in 1984 from the University of Texas at Austin where he was a student of Dr. Michael J. S. Dewar. He appeared in Richard Linklater's 2001 film Waking Life in which he discussed concepts similar to a technological singularity. Dr. Healy is married to Shelley Bueche.
