DMMDA
DMMDA, or 2,5-dimethoxy-3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine, is a lesser-known psychedelic drug and a substituted Amphetamine. DMMDA is the 2,5-dimethoxy analog of MDA. It was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. In his book PIHKAL (Phenethylamines I Have Known and Loved), the minimum dosage is listed as 30-75 mgs, and the duration listed as 6-8 hours. DMMDA produces LSD-like images, mydriasis, ataxia and slowing of time. Very little data exists about the pharmacological properties, metabolism, and toxicity of DMMDA.
