AshstoneAshstone is a kind of volcanic rock formed from fine volcanic ash. A volcanic eruption of acid lava can result in every last particle of the erupted lava being blown apart into fine particles. The material is called volcanic ash, consisting of sand-sized or smaller particles. These particles are small, slaggy piece of lava that have been tossed into the air by outbursts of steam and other gases.
