Acenaphthylene
Acenaphthylene[1][2] is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon consisting of naphthalene with an olefine bridge connecting positions 1 and 8. It is a constituent of coal tar. Reduction of the olefin gives the related compound acenaphthene. Notes |
