Biotrans GmbH is a waste disposal company with a focus on the recycling of wood and building elements. The company was founded in 1991 and is family owned. It is centrally located on the eastern edge of the Ruhr area in Schwerte, close to the crossroads of Westhofen known as the traffic hub. On the site there is a stationary plant for the treatment of used and residual timber of various types and qualities. In addition, related materials, such as green cut, bulky waste, metals, window and construction elements, construction site waste, scrap tires and rubber waste are accepted and utilized.
