BIO-SYS GmbH is continuously developing and improving systems to automate assays that are time-consuming to analyze and quantify.

The major product is the Bioreader®. It analyzes multiwell plates. The Biocount® is a side-product that counts colonies/plaques/zones of inhibition within petridishes, large agar plates or flask bottle.

BIO-SYS' Bioreader® and Biocount® are in worldwide use for pharmaceutical research and quality control in the field of immunology, virology, microbiology and genetic toxicology (biomedical and routine). Our major focus is on Elispot, FluoroSpot, Plaque assays, CFU and colony counting. More than 300 readers and counters have been established worldwide.

Our systems purpose is to automate time-consuming counting routines to speed up procedures and to get the researcher fastest access to their information and results. Our system is equipped with full automation of all mechanical components like plate centering and object zooming, focusing and aperture.
