Württembergische Allplastik GmbH

Based in Stuttgart the Württembergische Allplastik GmbH was established in 1953 by Dipl. Ing. Otto Lefnaer In the beginning the WAG produced plastic articles for most different areas of application, e.g. housings for the watch and clock industry, trading units for the pharmaceutical industry up to toys. Later a conversion of products was made and the company specialized in the production of quick fasteners and cable ties. The quick fastener was very well accepted by the customers due to its outstanding characteristics and the flexible possibilities of application. Substantial market shares were achieved by intensive advertisement and product placement in technical press. Starting from 1986 the management was transferred by Mr. Otto Lefnaer to his son Bjoern. The expansion of the manufacturing plants caused the management to look for larger premises. As a suitable facility was found, the removal took place into new company owned premises in the Johannes-Kepler road in Herrenberg.
