About RTG Mikroanalyse
The RTG Mikroanalysis GmbH Berlin is a service-oriented enterprise focusing its main activities on microanalysis by means of Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS). Based on many years experience with SIMS today we are capable of making optimum use of the method. Two CAMECA mass spectrometers are available (ims 4f, ims 4f-E6). RTG is located in the modern science and technology park Adlershof in the southeast of Berlin.
Main applications
* impurity analysis (qualitative and quantitative)
* depth profiles (qualitative and quantitative)
* lateral element distributions (maps)
* three-dimensional analyses of micro-volumes by using digital image processing techniques
in the following materials (examples)
* metal layer structures (e.g. contact systems, galvanic layers)
* solar cells
* optical multilayers, hard metal coatings, silicides, polymers
* semiconductor materials (AIIBVI compounds, Si, Ge, organic semiconductors)
* AIIIBV semiconductors, e.g. Galliumnitrid (GaN)
* high temperature superconductors, glasses
* metal-ceramic seals, ceramic-ceramic compound systems
* geological samples, parmaceutical materials
* medical and biological samples (implants, cell structures, biosensors, dental materials)
