About Fabbrica Adesivi Resine
F.A.R. S.p.A. was established in 1963 and started producing polyvinyl based resins and adhesives in the factory in Cologno Monzese, near Milan. In 1967, after a quick growth, the production was moved in a new factory in Filago, keeping offices and research and development laboratories in Cologno Monzese. The factory in Filago that has a surface of 80.000 m2, is now one of the most important in EUROPE concerning the polymerization of vinyl and acrylic monomers; meantime F.A.R. S.p.A. started producing urea formaldehyde resins and formaldehyde. Then, in order to take advantage of the formaldehyde available, F.A.R. S.p.A. started the production of phenolic resins. Recently the activity related to UF resins and formaldehyde has been transferred to FARCOLL, specialized in the field of resins and glues for the industry of chipboards.
