Chemia is a private company that has been working in the fine chemicals and agrochemicals industry since 1962. Production is carried out in two factories in Northern Italy, the main site located on the industrial estate of S.Agostino (Ferrara) and the other one in Gorizia.

Chemia specializes in the manufacturing of agrochemicals of all toxicological classes and of fertilizers for fertigation, soil and foliar nutrition. Chemia markets agrochemicals with its own brand and fertilizers under the Nutriland logo.

Chemia also is a well recognized toller, servicing as contract formulator for both agrochemical and fertilizer industry at international level.

Production involves synthesis and formulation. Fungicides, insecticides, herbicides are formulated as wettable powders, dust, emulsifiable concentrates, aqueous solutions, concentrated suspensions, micro-emulsions, micro/macro granules and water-dispersable microencapsulated products.

Specialty fertilizer range is manufactured as liquid, microgranular, soluble powder and paste forms. Each new product is designed with the aim to reduce the impact on the environment, the risks for the operator and, at the same time, to improve the efficacy of application also by covering, with such a large formulation portfolio, all practical market requirements.
