History

The Arp family has been present in the Spanish market since 1933 distributing specialty chemicals and advising the industry on how to optimise formulations. Enrique Arp Hamer, a chemistry expert from Rendsburg, Germany, arrived in Spain in 1933 representing revolutionary synthetic resins for manufacturing coatings. He gradually expanded the range of products offered and in 1959 he founded Comindex as we know it today.

Our mission is to distribute specialty chemicals affording innovative, reliable, effective solutions, providing customers with pioneering products, logistics service, technical consultancy and customised training.​​​​
