About Univex
It is located at Salamanca, Guanajuato, in the central part of Mexico, it started operations in 1972 having as initial objective, the production of specialties of caprolactam, a product used to producing Nylon 6.
It started operations using the Dutch technology of the company DSM. Univex is proud of achieving its last expansion projects with owned technology, which demonstrates its mastery of processes.
UNIVEX obtains from its processes other products such as Ammonium Sulfate, Nitric Acid, Sulphuric Acid, Oleum and Cyclohexanone.
Today Univex is one of the leaders companies in the production of Caprolactam, Univex covers the international plastics and fibers markets.
