The modulated image intensifier "II18MD" can be modulated up to 100MHz and enable measurements of fluorescence lifetimes with accuracy better than 100 picoseconds. Moreover, a complete FLIM system (LIFA - Lambert Instruments Fluorescence lifetime imaging Attachment) has been developed as a portable tabletop system that can be attached to any widefield fluorescence microscope.
